RACINES — MIVILLE at Galerie ROCCIA
September 10 to October 11, 2026
This fall, Galerie ROCCIA is delighted to welcome MIVILLE back for a brand-new exhibition: RACINES.
A member of the ROCCIA family since the gallery’s early years, MIVILLE returns with a new body of work in which matter, movement, lines and organic forms come together.
With RACINES, he continues an exploration deeply rooted in the living world. The works evoke branching forms, networks, currents, traces, and the invisible forces that connect beings and things.
Paint, matter and gesture intertwine in compositions that are both instinctive and carefully constructed, inviting the eye to wander, follow a line, get lost in a detail, and then rediscover the whole.
For this exhibition, MIVILLE will take over a large part of the gallery with a dozen new works, accompanied by a large suspended paper sculpture, created especially for the occasion.
OPENING NIGHT — SEPTEMBER 17
The opening of RACINES will take place on Thursday, September 17, starting at 6 p.m., in the presence of MIVILLE.
A particularly special date, as the evening will also mark Galerie ROCCIA’s 17th anniversary. 🥂
For the occasion, the gallery will bring together two artistic worlds: MIVILLE’s with RACINES, and that of André Desjardins, who will unveil new paintings fresh from the studio.
An evening to discover new works, reconnect with the artists, raise a glass… and celebrate together 17 years of art, encounters and passion. ❤️
