The “Little Climbers” collection is finished!
The Little Climbers collection, which I have been working on for more than two years, is finished. I have just completed the twenty-sixth and final climber. I named it “The Uniter”. I imagine her as the captain of the group, the one who brings people together. For her, the climb will be a success when everyone has reached the summit. Between two encouragements, she draws on her strength and deploys everything she has to help others.
All my climbers will be the subject of a special exhibition at the Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises Interpretation Center, in Magog, in September 2024. The idea behind this installation is to reflect on the climate crisis we are going through. I think that the only way to deal with the situation is to mobilize to move together in the same direction, to share a common goal. My little climbers unite their strength, their will, their audacity and their conviction to reach the same summit. This climb is intended to be a reminder of the urgency to act. There are twenty-six climbers, but in my head, there are eight billion because we must all be there and take the necessary actions, now, for future generations.
The climbers are all available for purchase. For more information: [email protected]
