22 Sep THE LITTLE CLIMBERS
I have recently completed a new collection of sculptures entitled The Little Climbers. These seven small characters are about 12 inches high. They climb walls or cling to everyday furniture: tables, dressers, bookcases, windowsills, shelves or any other surface. Some climb alone, others help each other. For me, this new collection is about solidarity, mobilization, commitment, collective effort and surpassing oneself.
You can discover The Little Climbers, in their clay state, at Galerie ROCCIA, from Wednesday, September 14 to Sunday, September 25. The works will then be sent to the Fonderie d’Art d’Inverness to be cast in bronze.
