I like to paint small formats on canvas. I approach these spontaneously created works as if I was drawing in a sketchbook. I let myself be carried away by the present moment, without specific goals, without expectations. I explore. I don’t usually have a theme in mind, but over the past few months, each study I created echoed the softness, slowness and silence that envelop my studio and my creation.
